Towing Your Car In The Winter

Driving in the snow can be extremely stressful. Not only do you have to worry about getting yourself safely home, but you must also be careful not to slide into another car or even worse, end up in the ditch.

What To Do If You’re Stuck In The Snow?

If you’re stuck in the snow, here are some things to do to ensure everyone’s safety.

Turn on your hazard lights: Putting on your hazard lights lets other motorists know you are stranded roadside, giving them plenty of room to pass safely.

Ensure everyone’s safety: If there is no traffic around, getting out of your vehicle is safe. But if there is heavy traffic, it could be dangerous for you or others to exit the vehicle.

Get out to see how badly you’re stuck: If the traffic isn’t too busy, take note of the depth of the snow. You’ll want to make sure you don’t sink into it.

Call Bear Creek Towing if you find yourself stuck in a snow bank, we’ll be there as quickly as possible in almost all cases to get you back on the road safely.
